lfc-server-mysql software package provides LCG File Catalog (LFC) server with MySQL database backend, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install lfc-server-mysql
lfc-server-mysql is installed in your system.
Make ensure the lfc-server-mysql package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep lfc-server-mysql *
You will get with lfc-server-mysql package name, version, architecture and description in a table
